Policies and FAQ's
The following is a brief description of how we like to
work and what to expect from using our voice over service.
We like to offer a voice over service that is easy to use, affordable
and of the highest quality. That being said, it needs to be a streamlined
operation. We only use voice talent that have a proven record of
knowing how to read a script correctly. When you use ProVoice.com
for your voice over and audio production needs, you will get a high
quality read, performed by skilled announcers using high quality
voice over equipment. That's what you can expect. Please don't expect
to be able to micro manage the voice over with certain inflection
instructions of every word, etc. If there are certain words on the
script you want read with more emphasis, please underline them in
the script. Once you choose the voice over talent and make payment,
the script will be sent to the talent to be recorded. You don't
need to wait days for the voice over, it should be done within 1/2
a business day for :30's and :60's (perhaps quicker). We have auditioned
hundreds of talents and have picked the best of the best that are
willing to work for the rates we are charging. Only having a dozen
or so 'very good for the money talent' is a win win for all involved.
The client gets a variety of talent to choose from, and the talent
isn't competing with 50+ other talent hoping to get one job a month.
If we make a mistake, we fix it fast and free. If you make a mistake
on the script, THERE WILL be revision costs. Do NOT expect free
revsions. If it's just a date change/simple line change, etc, you
won't have to pay full price again (unlike many other online voice
over services out there), but please double check your scripts for
errors before you send them. Revision costs start at $20 and up
from there depending on how much needs to be changed.

Below are some frequently asked questions.
What other fees are involved?
Unlike other online voice talent companies, we don't charge for
basic editing and 'studio' or 'session' fees. The fee you pay is
for the voice over, studio time, editing, etc. Once the voice talent
sends us back the audio file, we take out the breaths, make sure
it's error free and within the time limit needed (seeing as the
script wasn't way too long to fit in the time needed). The only
additional fees are based on how much more production is wanted,
such as music and effects.
Do I get to hear the voice over before I pay for it?
The talent on our site we have hand selected and are as good as
their demos are....that we guarantee. Our biggest pet peeve is getting
a demo from a potential talent and thinking 'Wow, this is great!'
and then getting a voice over from them and thinking 'What the hell
just happened?' The demos on our site were not created from demo
creation companies. These are real jobs that accurately represent
the talents abilities on reading a script and the quality of their
sound. That being said, we have to pay the announcer for their time
so we can't do free samples. Short answer: No.
What if I want music added to my voice over?
No problem. We can add music to your voice over for $15 per minute/per
file needing music. So if you just want to add music to a :30 commercial
voice over it's just $15 extra. If you have 3 phone messages and
you want each one to have music (and they are each :60 or less),
it'd be $45 to add music to all 3 messages. Do you get to pick the
music? For those rates, no. We use our production experience to
pick the song that would best fit your application. We will also
supply you with the 'dry' (non music) version incase we bombed on
the choice and you want to use the dry version to mix your own song.
If you want to pick the exact song you want, I can refer you to
a site and you can purchase the song and we can mix it in for $10.
But you'd have to pay for the song and that's typically $50+.
What does 'Basic Editing Always Included' mean?
We won't send you 'raw' audio. The voice over files will be clean
and edited so you can plop into your editor. You shouldn't have
to do any kind of clean up/editing work.
